[Bug 628764] Re: The Samba 'panic action' script, /usr/share/samba/panic-action, was called for PID 18453 (/usr/sbin/smbd)
Hi Scott, I'm pretty sure it is reproducible, but I'm not sure how; I receive a couple of alerts via email (the text I copied and pasted in the bug description was from the last one I received) every day and I think that this happens because someone (windows pc) in my soho access files in a samba shared folder on the Ubuntu server, but I never know which file neither which folder. This is all I think I can say about it; if you have any check you want me to do please let me know. Thank you very much. -- The Samba 'panic action' script, /usr/share/samba/panic-action, was called for PID 18453 (/usr/sbin/smbd) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/628764 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

Hi, Could you please provide some more information to help someone to resolve this issue? Is the problem reproducible ? Were you doing anything (package upgrade or server restart or server reconfiguration) at the time that you think might have contributed to this issue ? ** Changed in: samba (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- The Samba 'panic action' script, /usr/share/samba/panic-action, was called for PID 18453 (/usr/sbin/smbd) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/628764 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
