Public bug reported: Binary package hint: puppet
Most error messages in the beginning of a puppet run are replaced with "undefined method `closed?' for nil:NilClass". It should display the real error message instead of that error. This bug is fixed upstream. The upstream bug report is: http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/3101 The commit that fixes this is at: http://projects.puppetlabs.com/projects/puppet/repository/revisions/ae0b0bf23e418e8c6665e9dc135148b78bdbd913 I'm asking that this be fixed in Lucid because this creates a major usability problem because the user can't see the real error. Affected versions: 0.24.x is not affected. 0.25.4 is affected. 0.25.5 is not affected. ** Affects: puppet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Some error messages are replaced with wrong error message https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/664917 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to puppet in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
