[Bug 250260] [NEW] Strange sound behavior in imported clips

2008-09-18 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: kino

When importing ANY video clips into Kino, the first 2 min 41 sec sound
is completely wiped out, replaced by noises resembling a helicopter.
After 2 min 41 sec the sound becomes perfect. Reinstalling Kino,
including Kino 1.3 didn't solve the problem. Using Ubuntu Hardy, Kino
version 1.1.1

** Affects: kino (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Assignee: Ubuntu Studio-dev (ubuntustudio-dev)
 Status: Confirmed

[Bug 269389] Re: ubuntustudio-controls crashed with AttributeError in serialze_settings()

2008-09-18 Thread Marco
With this upgrade it works fine. (excepts one warning)

$ sudo ubuntustudio-controls
__main__
/usr/bin/ubuntustudio-controls:32: GtkWarning: Ignoring the separator setting
  self.wTree = gtk.glade.XML(self.gladefile)

(ubuntustudio-controls:21646): libglade-WARNING **: could not find a
parent that handles internal children for `vbox'

Thanks

DBUS ( http://dbus.freedesktop.org/doc/dbus-tutorial.html#whatis ),
IIRC, should be the new standard way to disable the screensaver in
programs such as this. But don't ask me anything about it - that's just
what I heard from a dev. ;)
