Re: [ubuntu-studio-devel] Art Team: Ubuntustudio Design Assets questions

2016-01-12 Thread Kaj Ailomaa
The current-standard repo is updated -
lp:~ubuntustudio-art/ubuntustudio-artwork/current-standard

I had forgotten what the defect in the CoF was, and noticed earlier that
it was actually present in the CoF I had provided, which makes the ones
cfhowlett provided correct (somehow, my eye is telling me none of the
CoFs look perfect). So, I put the correct ones in the repo, and also
supplied a black version of the wordmark (just changed the color in
inkscape).

The current-standard branch now includes the same stuff as the wiki page
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/Artwork/UserShowcase.

current-standard is not complete. I advice to wait until we can discuss
with Zak what should belong there (he might have more material than us),
before going forward with that. Also, creating an art standard page on
our web site will have to wait.
But, surely this amount of material is enough for creating wallpapers.

I'll announce the competition tomorrow, since cfhowlett is not able to
do so from his whereabouts.

/Kaj

Sorry Luke. I'll look for an alternate storage solution.

The size of the ubuntu-sounds tarball nearly filled my email account. It is the
bottom 25MB free tier as I would never pay for email nor have an account with
any ad-supported or PRISM-compliant provider. Please try to avoid sending
anything over 10MB to my email or I could lose other emails that would bounce.

I have uploaded the gnome / ubuntustudio and ubuntu-touch tones to the
above accounts. Useful resources for video?

Those are damned nice sounds. I did download the whole tarball before cleaning
out my email account, and immediately played them in Audacious one after
another.
