Re: Future Ubuntu Studio design guideline and Jaunty/+1 idea
Plus 1 from me to keep it as it is. I'd prefer the blue to the orange. Easier on the eye in dim light. Alex. On Fri, Nov 14, 2008 at 6:13 PM, Nedko Arnaudov [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Cory K. And I think it is better suited for something looking professional than orange that calls for joy of life, sunset, etc. -- Nedko Arnaudov GnuPG KeyID: DE1716B0 -- Ubuntu-Studio-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-users -- Ubuntu-Studio-devel mailing list Ubuntu-Studio-devel@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-devel

I ask this question because Intrepid is worse than Hardy LTS to make music... (stability of rt kernel, etc...), making 64Studio a better choice today for that purpose. Future Ubuntu Studio design guideline and Jaunty/+1 idea
So. After careful thought, I've decided that Ubuntu Studio releases will keep it's design for 2 releases. While I might add a wallpaper, it will stick with the current feel. Bug-fixes will happen as well. I've done this with Hardy-Intrepid already, I'm just makin' it official from now on. While this will be a bummer to some, I must frankly say, they aren't the ones doin' the work. ;) Ok, now for the Jaunty/+1 idea. I'm *thinkin'* of droppin' the #009bf9 blue and adopting the mainline Ubuntu colors. I'd still use our dark theme, just use orange instead of blue. Human icon set. Echoing the other two posts, I very much like the studio blue and would like to see it continue in some form. That said, I think you should also feel free to experiment. :) Thoughts? -Cory K. -- Ubuntu-Studio-devel mailing list Ubuntu-Studio-devel@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-devel -- Ubuntu-Studio-devel mailing list Ubuntu-Studio-devel@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-devel
