Hmmm. At the moment it is 15.08. But Debian sid has 15.12. Kdenlive does
not appear in the list of pending merges though. It might be that it has
not automatically synced because the ubuntu version includes an epoch
"4:" and it seems like the Debian version is older?

I will see if I can get 15.12 merged.

Yes - it is the last high priority one that already has a template on
the tracker.

That would be fantastic. Thanks.

I will also try and do a few other lower priority ones that I know well.

Then it will be time to announce the start of testing on the 18th :-) I
will cross post on us-users as well.

Cheers,

Just a heads up in this thread. :)

Is kdenlive one the last one that needs to be done for Studio, or have i
missed something?

I can probably have kdenlive manual test written by friday.

Exactly which version of kdenlive will be in 16.04? I have been building
kdenlive
from git master routinely, and here's what I've found: the 15.08 release was a
buggy mess, 15.12 is very good, both can handle GPU/Movit effects, and the
upcoming 16.04 kdenlive will have many new features which right now change
seemingly every day.

They both have different GUI and menu entries, but one test-case is
probably enough, given it includes both :)

Great!! :)

I was also confused by the name at first; manual test-cases. Was it
about writing manuals? Was it about testing the software? Shows up this
is about creating a "manual" on how test the programs, so many other
people can try the same things manually in a program, instead of a robot
testing it automatically, and together make sure the software works as
expected. Everything we write here ends-up like this:
http://packages.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/350/builds/105268/testcases/1600/results

However, send your question regarding phatch to the user-list, and i
will help you get familiar with it :) It's easier to write a manual from
questions. :)

Just to clarify; the word "manual" in "Manual Test Cases" is referring
to testing programs manually by humans, instead of automatically.
_NOT_ to documentation or "operation manual" :)

Hi Ross, Hi List,

I'm missing manual-test-cases for:

Phatch - PHoto bATCH Processor
http://photobatch.wikidot.com/

> Phatch is an user friendly, cross-platform Photo Batch Processor

and for

Phatch Image Inspector
http://photobatch.wikidot.com/image-inspector

They are both included in the seed and part of the Photography tools in
the Graphics workflow in Studio.

When you find time, would you please file a bug-repport about the manual
test case missing so i can write them and link the repports to the bug?

Thank you! :)

Done - I don't like to hold up such productive people! See link on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/Testing/Testcases

I only created one bug as I assume they are part of the same source
package. Confirming this is difficult when searching online reveals a
lot of broken links :-)

Let me know if it is not right to lump the two tests together in one
test case.

Hi, I spent several hours trying to understand the program but could not,
is very complicated, I looked for other options and found XnViewMP which
has a comprehensive batch converter. Good idea to make a manual, I hope to
