how work icecast?

2008-03-16 Thread Andres Londoño

I was reading icecast documentation but I am not sure ...
- if I am planning to use a relay server by my Streaming Hosting provider
(icecast) may I need to have a Public IP or not?
- Can I connect to icecast server (or any) using a dinamic ip?

Thanks..
Andres
