SupperHappyDevHouse 44 on May 7th in Mountain View, CA

2011-04-18 Thread Jorge G. Mare
Howdyt,

The next monthly SuperHappyDevHouse (SHDH) will be held on May 7th at
the Hacker Dojo in Mountain View, CA. The event starts 3:00 pm and
ends at 6:00 am the following day (Sunday).

I am not really sure where the were the UbuntuStudio users/developers
are based, but if anyone in the Bay Area who would like to get
together at this event, it should be fund to have an UbuntuStudio
table where we can get to meet face to face, chat, talk about what
matters to each of us and enjoy the overall geek atmosphere. I have
attended several SHDH in the past, and it's a lot of fun.

You can find more info about SHDH at:
http://superhappydevhouse.org/w/page/16345504/FrontPage

Anyone interested?

Cheers,

Jorge

Yeah, Ardour 3 has been in alpha testing for a few weeks. Exciting!
I've yet to try it, but I'm going to soon.

I also have a Firepod, and it works very well with Ubuntu Studio.
I've even done daisy-chaining with two Firepods, and it worked
perfectly. A reasonably priced way to get 16 inputs with pre-amps.

Perhaps
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/snapshots/patch-2.6.33-rc8-git9.bz2
?
I won't try to patch this now. Any hints are still welcome

Where's the vanilla kernel source 2.6.33.9?

2011-04-18 Thread Ralf
There's a new real-time patch
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/patch-2.6.33.9-rt31.bz2
but I can't find a source for the vanilla kernel 2.6.33.9, resp.
2.6.33.9 patch at http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/

Any valid link?
