So far I have had no trouble with Ubuntu 12.10 Studio 64bit quite
nice.. For standard use I have 12.04 LTS 32bit and have been useing it for
quite awhile.. For Music tho.. the studio would be best.. and there is no
'plug and play' for that to be done anywhere...

I have 12.04 plus KXStudio wich is quite the same as US and PA does not
cause any serious trouble anymore. It only messes up some mixer-settings
but only for apps that are irrelevant for music-production (namely
Skype) performance-wise there are absolutely *no* issues caused by PA
anymore. I can record in Ardour from Youtube with no glitches ;-)

I voted for Ubuntu12.10 + KXStudio
