Re: [ubuntu-studio-users] Problemas con apache2 (Problems with apache2)

2014-01-07 Thread HaPK

I'll translate so that the other people in the list can understand.
"Yes, I know that this isn't an Ubuntu Studio specific application, but
I've been working with this one for a while and so far is in the 12.04
LTS version that Rivendell has been more stable.

I mean that in the latest versions Ubuntu Studio changed something
since, after installing Rivendell, errors appear with Apache2, and can
this thing be looked into? so that this doesn't happen again in version
14.04, since we are many that trust in this distro.

I'm currently migrating several community FM radios to Rivendell under
Ubuntu Studio 12.04 LTS"

I'd advise looking in google about the error, about what this RDXport
is. Sorry I can't be of any more help.

What is susediendo? Where are you getting Rivendell? Does Apache
otherwise work and serve a webpage? Have you asked at Ubuntu
server since Apache is not an Ubuntu studio specific application?

Re: [solved] How to use Inkscape? - objects and nodes

2012-08-25 Thread HaPK
To draw with vectors is harder than drawing with pixels. To work with
Bezier curves you need to understand, a bit, mathematically how they work,
and then you may have a bit more control over them.

Even though, to start drawing with vectors only is very difficult, it's
easier to have something to begin with, a drawing made by hand or with a
tablet, then trace over that. I find out easier to draw Bezier curves with
a mouse and keyboard rather than a tablet, with inkscape.

I did this picture using inkscape, (
http://HaPK.deviantart.com/art/Mysticus-320210516?qo=1&catpath=gallery:hapk:51187&order=0&offset=1)
but I did some sketches using mypaint and a tablet.

Vectors need more skill, and are suitable for a range of things. But if you
prefer using pixels that's ok too.
