What are the specs of your machine? (if you don't mind me asking) Have you
updated Flash? Have you experienced the same problems using VLC? Did this
happen on 9.10 or whatever you were running previously?

Yes. use handbrake to convert your dvd to ipod ready file and use GTKpod or 
whatever you want to sync it up. 

and please use google for simple things before trying the mailing list.

In my experience these types of cameras need some sort of DV passthrough that 
converts the analog signal to a digital one.
