But i can see why your suggestion could be a good idea, given the normal kernels are less specific kernels than the lowlatency (?) Frankly typing, my question comes out of pure curiosity: its been rendering a blender animation 24/7 for about 2 weeks now, and there's no overheating to notice. [ubuntu-studio-users] Cooling systems
Hi! I have a bit of a noob issue. I have this powerfull machine at home for 3d graphics. It was sold with liquid cooling. Enough bragging and straight to the n00bness: the cooling system can be tuned in my BIOS, but is it running at all once ubuntustudio is up? Pretty much all i can think of is telling me "no". Because there is no driver or software for the cooling installed But could it be depending on the motherboard settings strictly? Or just running at the same rate constantly? What do you guys reckon? I have tried to ask several searchbots, but none seems to fetch me a linux related answer so...
