I installed linux-backports-modules-alsa-maverick-generic package. And then?
hehe

$aplay -l output:

Hello Fábio,

Try the linux-backports-modules-alsa-lucid-generic package.
And what does aplay -l output? And lspci | grep -i audio ?

I remeber that on Ubuntu 9.10 my 5.1 worked, since 10.04 it doesn't work

Its me again, but with another problem hehehe

I have a motherboard Intel DG41TY and a Creative T6100 5.1 sound system. The
motherboard just have 3 rear jacks. But I can't have the 5.1 sound effect on
Ubuntu, just on Windows =/
