Hi all!

I can only focus on the educational department at the moment, given my
human resources. Since I believe ubuntustudio surpasses xubuntu by
adding the element of "fun" in it's creative sense from scratch i chose
to address you.

The kids are the future

At the moment there is not much "new" to tell you about this case. But i
wish to let you know this ball is still in the air, and that all your

Canonical does offer commercial support for vanilla Ubuntu.  It's on the
website.  I think that vanilla Ubuntu or Xubuntu would be the best options.
 The low latency in US will cause cause confusion, and to be honest, be a
bit of overkill. I have a setup of Xubuntu that I use to introduce folks to
Linux.  It's setup to mimic winxp cosmetically, and most users find it
close enough that they learn everything within a few hours.

I think that promoting Ubuntu Studio might be hard, but promoting
Xubuntu/Lubuntu/Ubuntu might be a better approach. Then one would also have
several references to point out in the rest of Europe where a change have
had positive reactions.

I think the hardest part will be to convince people on the cost of
re-training everyone and make sure all old applications and templates will
work or be able to be transferred.

i'm not sure if there is a group of people (within ubuntu) that is actively
promoting ubuntu, but it might be worth finding out and passing this message

i also think that it's mostly cases it's not microsoft or canonical that
will attend these meetings, but some reseller or a company that offers
support for microsoft or linux apps
