On Studio, they would look like 'Graphics Packages', 'Audio Packages', etc. You probably forgot to check them. Hi Arwin, You don't need to reinstall or recover your machine even if you missed to install some meta packages in instaling! It's enough to install 'ubuntustudio-graphics' meta packages via synaptic or some commands in terminal. In ubuntustudio-graphics, you can automatically install these packages below, gimp and some plugins inkscape blender f-spot agave fontforge xsane wacom-tools etc... In synaptic, you can see this list related to ubuntustudio-graphics metapackage. Plesase check Community Ubuntu Documentation. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SynapticHowto because I can give you some guides just in Japanese...
