I fear we will have to use #ubuntu-translators: if everything is
normal, the Community Council will have a public meeting that same
day, at the same time on #ubuntu-meeting.
Ciao.

well.

I'll make time and I'm up for it too!

Also, I wanted to set up Raring langpacks before opening translations,
but I think I'll just open them today or tomorrow, so that people can
translate during the holidays :)

Alright gentlemen, let's vote on the exact time:

According to http://whenisgood.net/8n4d93p/results/pbcbw5
the time is 3rd January, 18:00 UTC. See you all there :).

Location is to be determined yet - should we use #ubuntu-meeting or
#ubuntu-translators is sufficient?

Next thing is to have an agenda:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/Meetings/Next - feel free to add
whatever I missed.

I'll send an invitation to ubuntu-translators@ with these information
later today.

Also Daniel too, as he has shown quite a lot of interest from the CC

Deadline is the 27th, that day I'll inform ubuntu-translators@ about the

Hi!

First weeek of January would work for me as well.
Unfortunately I've been very busy these last few months as I fit not one
but both undesired characteristics Gabor mentioned in IRC chat (got married
and defending my PhD thesis within a year).

regards

Andrej

[Ubuntu-translations-coordinators] Project meeting?

2012-12-20 Thread Gabor Kelemen

Hi all

This evening there was a CC meeting[1], where the topic was the status
of the Ubuntu translations project. Apart from mourning the loss of
David (:)), the conclusion was that we should hold an open (not only
UTC) IRC meeting to discuss the tasks and challenges ahead.

So, I'd like to ask when do you think it would be a good time to hold
this meeting? I think the first week of January would be a good choice.
