Re: [Launchpad-translators] Call for Qreator translations

Hello, David!

Could you please tell me what action this string means: [Network identifier
- *expand* for autodetection]

There is a kind of arrow at the right of this text-field. If you click
on it, a list of reachable networks is displayed, allowing you to select
the one you want (if any).

You could also just install qreator and see by yourself. As an extra
bonus, it will allow you to notice if your translations are really
relevant in practice.

Cheers,
Nicolas

 Hi David!

Could you please explain, how the auto detection for WiFi networks work
in Qreator? I'm referring to the string 7 »[Network SSID - expand for
 autodetection]« [3].

Does this mean that hitting Tabulator (like in syntax completion)
»expands« the first characters of an SSID to the complete SSID or does
it mean that the SSID auto detection works in another way? If so, how
(what must be clicked/done by the user)?

 Thank you!

Hi Dennis,

Sorry for the late reply, I had missed your question. Let me forward you
the e-mail Nicolas Delvaux sent to the list with the explanation.

For the next release I'll add a translator comment.

Cheers,
David.

 Hi all,

Just a heads up that I'm preparing the first Qreator release next week,
and I'm starting the string freeze period. Thank you all who have
 submitted translations so far.

There have been 9 new strings added since the last translation call, so
if you'd like to help completing them, please head to:

 https://translations.launchpad.net/qreator

You can test what will be the upcoming version by installing the package
[1] or subscribing to the PPA [2].

 Thanks!

 Cheers,
 David.

2012-05-28 Thread Oleg Koptev
Hello, Nicolas!

Thanks for the tip, I've imagined smth. like that.
regarding installing Qreator - of course I did that, like with majority (if
not any) of applications I translate.
The reason I've asked because under Debian (my home system) Wifi network
code creation not works, and at work, where I use Ubuntu there no WiFi, and
also I've been on vacation past two weeks, so I was unable to launch it
under Ubuntu. :)
