Yes, it looks like it affects Ubuntu. From the 3.30.0-3ubuntu1 buildlog:

I don't know how important it is.

(As a side note, Jeremy: Time to drop the ninja() workaround in d/rules.
Currently it builds the POT twice.)

gnome-shell cosmic translation issue?

Gunnar,

Was Ubuntu affected by https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues/537 ?

It looks like the commits to fix that issue were after 3.30.0 and
there still hasn't been a gnome-shell 3.30.1 release.

Re: Should the Ubuntu Serverguide be published in languages other than English?

2018-10-02 Thread Алексей Кабанов
Hi, Doug!
I've been one of few translators of Server guide to Russian, but last year I've
migrated from Ubuntu to some other Linux distributive and given up translation.
No new translations from that time, so it seems that nobody else wants to
continue it. But I wrote today to Russian Ubuntu forum and asked if somebody
wants to do it.

Best luck,
Aleksey.
