ubuntu-dock missing translations
Hi translators, Our team's translators noticed that "Add to Favorites" and "Remove from Favorites" become untranslatable in jammy. The label is displayed on right click dock icon. And this seems to be caused by a change in gnome-shell. I filed a bug report to upstream. https://github.com/micheleg/dash-to-dock/issues/1697 Thanks, -- Mitsuya Shibata mty.shib...@gmail.com -- ubuntu-translators mailing list ubuntu-translators@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-translators

gnome-desktop-3.0.mo is missing in language pack on jammy
Hi translators, The gnome-desktop-3.0.mo is missing from the latest jammy language pack. On impish: $ dpkg -L language-pack-gnome-en-base | grep gnome-desktop /usr/share/locale-langpack/en/LC_MESSAGES/gnome-desktop-3.0.mo /usr/share/locale-langpack/en_AU/LC_MESSAGES/gnome-desktop-3.0.mo /usr/share/locale-langpack/en_CA/LC_MESSAGES/gnome-desktop-3.0.mo /usr/share/locale-langpack/en_GB/LC_MESSAGES/gnome-desktop-3.0.mo On jammy: $ dpkg-query -W -f '${Version}\n' language-pack-gnome-en-base 1:22.04+20220323 $ dpkg -L language-pack-gnome-en-base | grep gnome-desktop (nothing is shown) The source package of gnome-desktop-3.0.po is renamed from gnome-desktop3 to gnome-desktop. Is this related? - Jammy: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-desktop - Impish: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-desktop3 Perhaps this will be resolved at the next language pack update? FYI, a language pack source archive has gnome-desktop-3.0.po file. https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jammy/+language-packs And gettext domain is not changed between gnome-desktop3 and gnome-desktop. Please update ja translations in precise
Hi all, I'd like to request a language pack update for ja in precise. The reason for this request is the following: - There is wrong placeholder for update-manager[1]. - Therefore update-notifier failed to notify of "Upgrade Available" [1] https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/update-manager/+pots/update-manager/ja/373/+translate I filled upgrade request https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1355815 Thank you. -- Mitsuya Shibata mty.shib...@gmail.com -- ubuntu-translators mailing list ubuntu-translators@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-translators

Re: ubuntu-docs stats , xml and html
Hi Adi, Thank you very much for your work. However for many language to generate HTML, there are following errors: > element xref: validity error : IDREF attribute linkend references an unknown > ID "..." Ex. http://ubuntu-docs-stats.tla.ro/ubuntu-8.10/report_html/internet/ja.txt I noticed that this message will be appeared when exec "xsltproc" to each xml files, and will not be appeared when exec it to topic index file by "make all". For example, if exec to each xml file by following command: $ xsltproc --xinclude -o build/internet/ja/index.html \ libs/ubuntu-html-chunk-cust.xsl internet/ja/connect.xml It will output errors: > ERROR: xref linking to network-troubleshooting has no generated link text. > Error: no ID for constraint linkend: network-troubleshooting. > Writing index.html for chapter(connect) If exec to topic index file (connect.xml is in "internet" topic) by Makefile's way in ubuntu-doc repository. $ xsltproc --xinclude -o build/internet/ja/index.html \ libs/ubuntu-html-chunk-cust.xsl internet/ja/internet.xml It has no error. And can create all html files in internet topic. If you use original make script, please check xsltproc's options.
