report or someone else commenting on this. Could you please report it as
a bug against update-manager and the ubuntu-translations project [1], so
we can keep track of it and see how this can be addressed (checking that
no one else has already reported it, if possible)?

I actually filed a bug report on this a long time ago. It was closed as
 invalid (hrrrf).

I've had a look at the bug (thanks for reporting it!), and I've now
marked it as a duplicate of the other one, since that's the one where
work is being done now. If you think it's not a duplicate, please unmark
it and add a bug task for the ubuntu-translations project. I've also
noticed that the bug was marked as Invalid on the upstream
update-manager project, but it was still open (as New) on the Ubuntu
update-manager project.

update-manager needs to have a string for the UPCOMING release also, not
just the current one. This will be shown when upgrading a RC/beta to a
 stable release.

Instead, it has the Upgrading Ubuntu to version 9.04 string [1].

However, update-manager in Karmic does include the Upgrading Ubuntu

Is this the right behavior? I suppose update-manager (as well as

release in order to get that visible string translated. Am I wrong?

 Cheers,
