Often it's best to provide a reference to say where you have seen something, as well as the scoop itself. Have a reference means that inquisitive people are able to go and discover more information should they be interested! -Paul -- High on a tall bridge, surrounded by noisy lorries. As far as I know my LUG is the only one in Somerset, the Linux User Group of Glastonbury. http://lugog.org.uk The current plan is to meet twice a month in several venues - the shortlist at present is a pottery just north of Yeovil, a workshop in Somerton and the Glastonbury ICT Centre. Sean Ahh I see. I wonder if it would be a good idea to get the South West LUGs (Devon Cornwall GLUG, Linux User Group of Glastonbury and the Dorset Lug - and any other LUGs in the South West that I may have missed off) to setup a South West Group? I generally only go as far as Taunton with work, although my work do have a small site in Yeovil Town Centre. Re: [ubuntu-uk] South West Group
There's a Bristol Bath LUG, or is that not far enough south west? [ubuntu-uk] manlug meeting this Saturday!
For anyone in and around the Manchester area, note that MANLUG are having an install fest this Saturday. Details can be found on their WEB site at www.manlug.mcc.ac.uk. All are welcome. I'm hoping to be there, so maybe we can chat about a possible NorthWest group meeting.
