Thanks to all those who posted the link, etc. Although I already use
CrossOver Office Standard 7.0.2 which I bought a few weeks or months
ago, it will be nice to try out the Pro and Games versions some time,
although I rarely play games, but still nice to have the opportunity to
do so on Linux to make Windows using friends jealous.

I plan to, for the 2nd year running. However, I've got a million other
things on in the evening that will probably drag on and on and on and on and
on and onso I may see you there, I may not! If not, I hope everyone has
a fantastic time, last year was great.

I just tried, you can - install them as a local use and CXOffice goes
into ~/cxoffice and the gaming one goes into ~/cxgames.

Works a treat.

Are the .jigdo files available on the UK Ubuntu mirrors at the moment?

I'm thinking of using that option to get Intrepid (rather than
downloading multiple ISOs).

I tried installing the Game version on Hardy 64-bit and it moaned about
some missing libraries. I'm going to reinstall when Intrepid comes out
so I'll have a play with it then.

I know someone who might actually benefit from CrossOver Office (someone
who has an old slow PC but wants to play World Of Warcraft).

Um... I think it's mainly that the games one is tailored more to games
and competed with TransGaming's Cedega (which is also based on Wine).

I tried CrossOver Office Pro a couple of years ago and it worked fairly
well but I haven't had chance to play with it recently.

One thing that may of interest:

lower gas prices in the Twin Cities below $2.79 a gallon, which has
