arisen following the changeover, the cause must be with the OS. Is there a

Are you certain that it is not a problem with the router or the h/w on
the laptop, or perhaps a new hotspot nearby on the same channel?
Often the most difficult to solve problems can be down to co-incidence
confusing the situation.
