I really like the Hardy (alpha 5) Kubuntu curly swirly wallpaper. 6.06 (misty bubbles) was not bad, it had a level of subtlety and mystery which I appreciated, but since then I have been a bit unhappy with the un inspired defaults - which live CD users get.
