[ubuntu-uk] Planning Ubuntu release party in London for developers
Hello all, As I am not able to make OggCamp http://oggcamp.org/, I am planning a release party on the afternoon of 1st Mayhttp://jr0cket.blogspot.com/2010/04/ubuntu-release-party-for-developers.htmlaiming at people who want to use Ubuntu as a productive environment, eg. developers of JVM and FOSS applications. Most of the afternoon would be about getting Ubuntu installed and talking about the great applications you can use on Ubuntu, so would be interesting for non-developers too. I am confirming an exact location this week and have posted some information about the party on my blog: http://jr0cket.blogspot.com/2010/04/ubuntu-release-party-for-developers.html Please comment on my blog to let me know if you are interested in coming, so I can judge numbers. -- John Stevenson jr0cket.com leanagilemachine.com -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/

This sounds like a great idea, I'd like to chat with people about developing stuff on Ubuntu. However, I don't think I'll be able to make it.
