I would recommend enabling NAT Traversal (STUN) if you can, else you'll certainly behaving the issues described. You may need to forward more ports, but let me know how you get on. Oh and yeah, SIP/VOIP is my job and NATs+VOIP=Headache. :) Tim -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/

[ubuntu-uk] SIP Configuration for BT BRoadband?
I've tried to get my BT Broadband softphone working under Linux but am failing - I'm using twinkle, and have my current config listed below - if anyone in the UK has got their BT Broadband Softphone working with a Linux SIP client, can you take a look and give me a pointer on what's wrong? Twinkle configuration USER SIP Account Your Name John Smith User Name 441234567...@btsip.bt.com Domain btsip.bt.com Organization SIP Authentication Realm: Authentication name:441234567...@btsip.bt.com password: http://www.bt.com/bbv> SIP Server Registrar: btsip.bt.com (note this is added to local hosts file to resolve to 62.239.169.200) Outbound proxy: sp2.btsip.bt.net RTP Audio Active Codecs G.711 u-law G.711 A-law GSM Transport/NAT Transport Protocol: UDP NAT TRaversal: NAT Traversal not needed Enable NAT keepalive ticked -- Russ -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
