You know what I meant, John! They can ridicule computer techs as a concept, but to ridicule Linux over Windows would not necessarily be good - would it? For instance, they decide to try installing Ubuntu instead of Windows on a machine because the fella's got the t-shirt (would that be the weird fella or the Oirish one? one of them anyway) and then everybody turns into zombies because they selected the wrong option during install or something and the office is taken over by zombies and they end up discovering that pointing an iPhone at the zombies turns them back to normal. I've seen this sort of thing before, that's all. Interesting, i contacted the creator of the show during Series 2 with the intention of getting a Ubuntu poster in the background. They said it wasn't out of the question, but Series 3 was not yet in the planning stage. I would imagine that the 'Highway' poster would be less than ideal, but one stating Ubuntu, Linux for Human Beings only would be a really good idea. We would need to speak to Canonical to get clearing for the logo, i can't imagine them saying No. So the next thing is getting a suitable sized poster. If it's just a plain poster, would should probably consider getting a run of at least 10 - as i know i'd certainly consider some. I've added this idea to the IdealsPool of the Wiki [0]. We should probably try and construct a suitable email to Ben. If we start this on the Wiki[1], we could all try and chime in with suggestions. I'd be interesting in getting a couple, maybe if we could get a decent run of them off we could get ones to put up in places. A professionally printed poster looks a whole lot better than something printed off on an inkjet printer. Maybe something A3 size or bigger? I think it's a great idea anyway.
