Hi Chris, I *never* had any success with the Hull Freecyle list, for computers or otherwise! I had a similar sort of Idea for raising FLOSS awareness for HullFLOSS, but it never panned out :-( Let me know how it goes! Hi Steve, I got the knock back from the guy on Hull Freecycle. His comments: I buy PC's to refurbish. I've tried to pass them on with Linux based operating systems and people are not interested. I know they should be, but there not. Meh... I see facebook as a highly disposable entity. Facebook isn't evil; for us students, it's a way of life. I'll join, but that probably means I'll need to join a freecycle soon (i.e. when I get back to London for the start of college again). I want to build myself a desktop for my new flat anyway.
