[Ubuntu-US-CA] Running an Ubuntu App Dev School - can anyone help?
Hi Everyone, I hope you can help. I would like to run an Ubuntu App Dev school in the Bay Area. Essentially, I would like to encourage people to show up at a given venue, provide a tutorial on how to write a quick Ubuntu app, and answer questions. Would anyone be interested in helping me put this together? I am going to need: * A venue. * Some help on the day of the event. * Some help promoting it locally. [Ubuntu-US-CA] Ubuntu California LoCo leadership election
Hi all, I have gone ahead and created a CIVS poll for the election. Everyone in the ubuntu-california Launchpad group with a public (i.e. visible when logged in) email address should have received a ballot. If for some reason you did not receive a ballot or want it resent, please contact me off-list. I intend to close the poll on the 13th and be able to promptly announce the winners of (this|last) year's election. How large of a venue did you have in mind? Might be able to provide some space at our office in Mountain View.
