Thanks for the Ubuntu Packaging links. Let me know if I can help with the podcasts and website. I am sure that there will be many talks upcoming in the ML for the Website and the PodCasts. As for packaging there are two good places to go for this. There are the Masters Of The Universe (MOTU https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU ) They maintain the Universe and Multiverse components in Ubuntu Repositories. Alternatively here is the Ubuntu Packaging Guide. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PackagingGuide I hope this helps you and if you need anything else please feel free to let us know Dave On Tuesday, November 09, 2010 04:39:36 pm Landon Blake wrote: > David and Others, > > I'm an Ubuntu user in Stockton, California. > > I'd be interested in helping with the podcasts and possible with the > web site. Re: [Ubuntu-US-CA] Meeting Notes from 10NOV10
David and Others, I'm an Ubuntu user in Stockton, California. I'd be interested in helping with the podcasts and possible with the web site. I've got the recording equipment for podcasts already. I don't do much with IRC, but I am subscribed to the mailing list. I have a particular interest in helping small businesses use Ubuntu. I also listen to the CVale mailing list, so I might be able to help with cross-pollination with that LUG. I also would like to learn more about packaging software for Ubuntu. It is something I've looked into, but never done.
