I have the same error at intel_set_mode+0x25/0x30 [i915]. X won't always come back to login screen, but screen turns black and every X client dies. I can reproduce it consistently by triggering resolution changes. I've experienced this bug as well. I did a memtest and there is nothing wrong with my memory, and this crash only seems to happen when i have one or more graphically intensive programs running. While they do fix all 3 bugs it seems to create one new very limited bug in 14.04 - With a usb mouse nautilus will crash when opening folders on the desktop thru a double l. click.
