[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1104230] Re: DisplayPort 1.2 MST support is missing in the Intel driver

2014-05-15 Thread Victor Luft
Looks like progress is being made on implementing the kernel side of
Haswell DP MST support - this is probably a good place to track if
you're interested in updates on this:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~airlied/linux/log/?h=drm-i915-mst-support

My understanding is that once that is complete the xorg side will also
need updating to support it as well.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1319974] [NEW] Can't log back in after suspend

2014-05-15 Thread Zane Hitchcox
Public bug reported:

I have a brand new installation of ubuntu on my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro,
and after I suspend the computer and try to log back in, it freezes. I
can move the mouse around, but can't do anything.

If I restart my computer, it works fine though.

I have tried reinstalling the OS, but I still have the exact same
problem.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1308105] Re: Xfce resets TV mode to NULL when power cycled

2014-05-15 Thread rhpot1991
I added the following in /etc/mythtv/session-settings to work around this issue:
killall xfsettingsd

This will kill xfsettingsd when mythfrontend starts.
