[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1278223] Re: Mouse Flickering after adding 3rd Monitor

2014-05-20 Thread Wolfen
Hi guys

I have the same issue, with only 2 screens (native one on the laptop,
and the displaylink usb). When the displaylink is connected the laptop
screen's mouse cursor flashes everytime there is an update on the
displaylink. Making a full white screen with no changes causes a 1/per
second flash, and playing a video makes the mouse pretty much disappear.
Odd thing is the usb screen is completely normal and unaffected by any
flashing.

And just to be clear, unplugging the usb, prevents the flashing too.

I suspect that the displaylink usb screen card makes unity go into some
kind of safe update mode where it hides the mouse cursor whule drawing
updates..

2014-05-20 Thread Maarten Lankhorst
piglit tests: no regressions on snb, 13 more tests now pass

Seemingly a regression on nv96 with spec/ARB_timer_query/timestamp-get,
but after examination it is probably a result of running all tests in
parallel. Quite a lot MSAA tests started to pass. 14349 - 14415

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1321351] [NEW] Mouse randomly starts moving and clicking

2014-05-20 Thread Elijah Lynn
Public bug reported:

Appears to be a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/749567.

I was going to attach on to that bug but the apport-collect dialog said
it was better to create a new one and mark as duplicate.

I am running a Thinkpad W510 touchscreen with the touchpad disabled. I
have it docked and the lid is closed but it happens with lid open too.

Not sure what is causing this but it eventually goes away or I restart.

It almost feels as if someone has remote control access to my computer.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1317528] Re: Packages nvidia-libopencl1-... don't provide libopencl-1.1-1 and libopencl-1.2-1

2014-05-20 Thread Scott Ritchie
Further investigation shows this is intentional on the part of the ocl-
icd package: it has the following in its .symbols file:

| #PACKAGE# #MINVER# | libopencl1, libopencl-1.1-1
| #PACKAGE# #MINVER# | libopencl1, libopencl-1.2-1

So, really, it is up to the NVidia packages to provide these two. Or
for us to just drop that in the ocl-icd package.
