[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1324361] Re: Screen blank after resuming from suspend
I'm agree it for U.14.04, but it's presented and others derivative distribution (like Mint 17), without any depends with DE! So, I'm attempting to install it to my ASUS 1225C Samsung 100N netbooks. I have opinion that it's kernel + hardware incompatible... Note. I haven't any logs and others docs because I was leave any attempts to use it just at 11/05/14. Additionaly info: 11/05 I'm was attempts to install Xubuntu 14.10 (Utopic Unicorn) Daily Build at 2014-05-11 and I succeed it, because this daily release haven't this bug! [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1324520] [NEW] Monitor blinks when connected through HDMI
Public bug reported: I have 2 monitors, (connections: VGA, HDMI). When 1 monitor (LG IPS237) is using HDMI - it can blink for 5-10 mins from reboot (1 second off, 1 second on) If both monitors are connected using VGA - there is no blinking, but I had strange glitches (that's why I used HDMI) And the fact that it is blinking with this connection type is really f...ing annoying. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1155819] Re: Plugging in Logitech G930 USB headset breaks mouse click behaviour
3.13.0-24-generic #47-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 2 23:30:00 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Will confirm having similar issues. Appears to only occur when going from an unplugged state to a plugged state for charging, though only intermittently. I have yet to observe a reliable set of actions to prompt the symptoms. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1311362] Re: Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 - NVidia 331 - OpenCL broken (using Darktable)
Thanks for reporting this The Bright Side, but this issue is much bigger than darktable. The fact that clinfo gives a weird error is a good indicator that this is a very general problem, not related to any user-land programs. The reason I found it (again, thanks) was that I have a problem with boinc- client. As soon as I upgraded to 14.04, boinc-client stopped being able to detect any OpenCL resources. This is an OpenCL driver problem with the nVidia drivers. I think this is link is relevent, which says to install nVidia drivers manually: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/734098/linux/-boinc-ubuntu- nvidia-no-usable-gpus-found-/ I'm just trying to figure out if that is worth doing or if Ubuntu folks are going to fix it soon. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1311362 Title: Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 - NVidia 331 - OpenCL broken (using Darktable) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1311362/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
