[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1377857] Re: touchscreen calibration not saved in ubuntu 14.04

2014-10-06 Thread cette
Hi again .
I just to find a possible solution.
I can't save calibration touchscreen but i can change values with xinput args.

Previously, i need select input device:

xinput --list

Later you cant change calibration with this commands:

xinput --set-prop <> "Evdev Axis Inversion" 1 0
xinput set-prop <> "Evdev Axes Swap" 1

This method, will be erased when we start session. For this reason, i
created sh file and activated in startup applications in my ubuntu

it is not the best solution , but i resolved my problem.
Regards.

** Description changed:

I have a touchscreen IIYAMA and I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
I try to configure my touchscreen by Calibrate touchscreen. Later, I save new
configuration in :

  /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-calibration.conf

I show you one of multiples examples that i used

  Section "InputClass"
- Identifier "calibration"
- MatchProduct"Nexio Touch Device(HS) Nexio HID Multi-Touch
ATI0420-06 Pen"
- Option "Calibration" "14533 4620 14533 4620"
- Option "SwapAxes" "1"
+ Identifier "calibration"
+ MatchProduct"Nexio Touch Device(HS) Nexio HID Multi-Touch
ATI0420-06 Pen"
+ Option "Calibration" "14533 4620 14533 4620"
+ Option "SwapAxes" "1"

  EndSection

I am trying multiples options: change SwapAxes values, change Calibration
values..
  Finally i restart xsever :

  restart lightdm

  Ubuntu not save any change.
  Thanks for all

It worked fine on 14.04. Tested on Unity and Gnome 3.14.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1377977] [NEW] Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro intermittently experiences screen corruption with Web browsers and Skype forcing a restart

2014-10-06 Thread Ellen Arnold
Public bug reported:

I will take photos and attach to this bug later. Every few hours I'm
forced to reboot due to screen corruption which may be due to flaky 3D
or acceleration support. When doing video-intensive things like
Skype/Hangout video call the current window will disappear behind the
browser and show up inside the Unity Launcher. Eventually I can no
longer type or use the mouse and the system will reboot itself.

An additional data point is that, when I first tun on the system, it
takes about 3 seconds to draw the Plymouth screen and, if grub asks me
to pick a boot option, about 5 seconds for the grub screen to draw from
the bottom up (which makes me believe it might be poor acceleration
support).

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1224732] Re: Custom keyboard shortcuts don't work

2014-10-06 Thread gazhay
I agree, I had got Audio keys working again by luck, and decided to try
custom shortcuts for something else again via the control panel.

Now lost all shortcuts again.

2014-10-06 Thread cette

I show you one of multiples examples that i used

Section "InputClass"
Identifier "calibration"
MatchProduct"Nexio Touch Device(HS) Nexio HID Multi-Touch
ATI0420-06 Pen"
Option "Calibration" "14533 4620 14533 4620"
Option "SwapAxes" "1"

EndSection

I am trying multiples options: change SwapAxes values, change Calibration
