Public bug reported: I have a Mad Catz M.M.O. 7 mouse with multiple buttons. The mouse have a Profile Button, witch switch mouse setings. When first (default) profile is active then left mouse button work is very buggy: cursor not change (still in last form), windows do not selectable, etc I think this happens because in profile mode used "hidden system" buttons. pressed-released - is first profile, released-released - second profile, released-pressed - third, etc. command "xinput" reported about 24 buttons. button[20] is always "pressed" in first profile mode. if xinput say what all buttons is released, then no problem with mouse. -- :~$ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu Wily Werewolf (development branch) Release:15.10 !!! tested in Live session, can't be installed now !!! So far there are not much applications and libraries using opencl, but I fall into this when just trying to install clinfo (Just a simple testing application like vainfo or vdpauinfo) with nvidia-libopencl1-*. I've sponsored your mesa change to wily, thanks! Your branch is not against Mir trunk so it can't be merged into lp:mir. Also, you've put Requires instead of Requires.private in the .pc file. This would causes something using mir-client-platform-mesa to link against libmirclient which is not required as the platform headers just contain structs and defines. I think I have the information on this issue. The left button may not work because the mouse generates a constant pressing a service button, e.g., as described here (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/615892/comments/13). my mouse have "hidden" button 20-21-23, that "click" when I switch profiles (see attachment for evtest log, problem events 287-288-289). when all button is released, then mouse work as expected. in other cases, left button does not work anywhere else, although its operation can be seen in xinput, for example. I was able to get out of situation just by turning off the service button in the xorg.conf (writing zeros in their place): Section "InputClass" Identifier "Mouse Remap" ... A classic example is I start FILES but I cannot close the window (by clicking the X button) nor can I go back a directory. It's treating the 'buttons' as if they are part of the title bar. I had just recently done a clean install of Ubuntu-Mate 15.04 and after loading the Nvidia driver, again saw this issue. Following the below instructions seems to have completely fixed it for me. I had previously tried many other suggestions/recommendations with minimal to no success. (I have a Lenovo W510 Laptop) <--- I was able to get my brightness keys working on my Lenovo W530 on Ubuntu 12.04. These days X automatically configures itself, so creating an xorg.conf file might make your system inflexible. Instead you can add a section to a file in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/ and X will include that section in the configuration that it automatically generates. When I got the crash fglrx-core was installed. I removed fglrx-core, removed the Linux 4.3 RC4 kernel and installed it again.
