[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1454473] Re: In Ubuntu 15.04, simply moving the mouse via touchpad scrolls the window
same bug. a few observations: occurs with mint 17.3 on a dell xps. logging out sometimes will work, but not necessarily. agree that disabling the two-finger feature seems to make it happen less often, but doesn't prevent it -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1454473 Title: In Ubuntu 15.04, simply moving the mouse via touchpad scrolls the window To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1454473/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1388612] Re: [GM965] GPU lockup running OpenGL applications on Dell Vostro 1510
Andrea Bini, it wouldn't hurt to file a net new report upstream for this (unless one of the many duplicates of #80568 was one you personally reported). [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1562610] [NEW] /var/log/Xorg.0.log gets flooded with "(EE) dbus-core: error connecting to system bus: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.FileNotFound (Failed to connect to socket /var/run
Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with xserver-xorg-core 2:1.18.1-1ubuntu4 and on making a look into /var/log/Xorg.0.log I'm seeing the entry "(EE) dbus-core: error connecting to system bus: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.FileNotFound (Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory)" over 40.000 times within the last ~5 days there. On my system root does not run dbus and for my user dbus is limited with its configuration files so I'm assuming this is the reason why this error message appears. But that the log gets flooded with it (it seems to appear at least periodically every 10 seconds) doesn't look right (and makes it difficult to look for really important errors). ** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with xserver-xorg-core 2:1.18.1-1ubuntu4 and on making a look into /var/log/Xorg.0.log I'm seeing the entry "(EE) dbus-core: error connecting to system bus: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.FileNotFound (Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory)" over 40.000 - times within the last 5 days there.
