[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1681129] [NEW] debsums report /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/old.libgbm.so.1.0.0 mismatch

2018-08-14 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Running debsums on my machine report that /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/old.libgbm.so.1.0.0 has changed. Sadly even running "apt-get
install --reinstall libgbm1-lts-wily:amd64 libgbm1:amd64" does not fix
the problem.

(BTW, I cannot report this against the libgbm1 package, because
Launchpad is saying that '"libgbm1" does not exist in Ubuntu.')

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1543192] Re: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in OsAbort() from AbortServer() from FatalError() from dix_main() ["no screens found"]

2018-08-14 Thread Jonathan
At least some of my issue was triggered by a yet unfixed NIS/systemd
bug. systemd-logind would hang (and watchdog kicks in) if it tried to
contact the NIS service because of a new IP firewall they implemented.
I don't think this was entirely all of my problems but it certainly
confused the issue.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1786928] Crash report cannot be processed

2018-08-14 Thread Apport retracing service
Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate a useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

no debug symbol package found for libnvidia-gl-390
no debug symbol package found for xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-390

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!
