[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1803849] Re: libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 can not be installed

2018-11-22 Thread Timo Aaltonen
I was able to install 'steam-latest.deb' from Valve on a chroot without
issues, and then ran 'steam' which installed all the i386 bits, again
without any issues.

If you have problems with the upgrade, try asking for help on a forum or
IRC. There's nothing to be fixed in the Ubuntu archive anyway, so
closing again.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1724307] Re: [Dell XPS 13 9360] Mouse cursor flickers with one external monitor connected via HDMI+Wavlink WL-UG39DK1V

2018-11-22 Thread adin
I have the same issue on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS (kernel 4.15.0-38-generic)
connected with DisplayLink (driver 4.4.24). I'm connecting through
Display port on a Dell Inspiron 15, and a docker D6000.

The flicker occurs only on the laptop's monitor, and the external
monitors seem fine. No flicker whatsoever.

As similar reports, when the docker is disconnected the flicker stops.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1803752] Re: HID inputs (mouse buttons and keyboard) stop responding when plug in DP monitor

2018-11-22 Thread Jonathan Polak
** Description changed:

Ever since upgrading to 18.10 plugging in external monitors has been
  buggy.

  Device Lenovo T460s. Ubuntu-Mate 18.10.

- Plugging in External monitor using mini-display port causes keyboard to be
unresponsive. Mouse buttons as well. though can still move mouse on screen.
Plugging in and out using arndr sometimes resolves this. Notwithstanding, no
smooth transition to multimonitor mode.

+ screen. Plugging in and out using arndr sometimes resolves this.
+ Notwithstanding, no smooth transition to multi-monitor mode.
+
+
+ EDIT: 2018-11-22 // The problems are not observed when using HDMI instead of
mini display-port. Moreover, if one can regain control of HID devices when mini
DP plugged in, the resolution of the monitor plugged in is completely wrong.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1804663] Re: audio of web is off

2018-11-22 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your
description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful
to read "How to report bugs effectively"
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful
if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures.

At a minimum, we need:
1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the
problem.
2. The behavior you expected.
3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!
