[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1880247] [NEW] Default iris_dri driver causes crashes in many kde applications

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1878718] Re: HP ZBook 15 G6 display key (Fn+F1) autorepeats too fast to be usable

2020-05-22 Thread Frank Blah
a) When I do a short press, then immediately after a release, the next option
is selected (the dialog does not have time to appear even).
b) When I do a long press, then the options start to circle very quickly until
I release the key (see the screencast)

I think the bug is caused by this: When you do Super+K, you hold Super
and press K repeatedly to switch the options. After you release the
Super key, the option is confirmed. When you use the fn key, there is
just one key, so after releasing, it immediately selects the option.

I, too, have this problem. U+0054 is a "T", and in the normal XTerm logo
there's a blue T at that location. I think Gnome does not handle this
kind of icon and glitches out on the Unicode character

Yes the mouse did work, and I was able to use the Super key to bring up
Unity's application menu (on this computer I use Unity). Typing text
didn't work, though.
