[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1947200] [NEW] [i965] enable Gallium3D crocus driver
Public bug reported: Starting with Mesa 21.2 an alternative driver for Intel hardware for Gen4 through Gen7 is available that is based on Gallium3D. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1947168] Re: important
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem. 2. The behavior you expected. 3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Please also ensure that you include the release and flavour of Ubuntu that you are using. Thank you! ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1947168 Title: important To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1947168/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1947018] Re: Does not let me execute any command via GUI or CLI
Thanks for the bug report. It sounds like you have multiple issues so please open separate bugs for each one. It also sounds like you might have a faulty mouse or keyboard plugged in with a button stuck down that you're not aware of. Try unplugging both the mouse and keyboard and plug in some other ones. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1947018 Title: Does not let me execute any command via GUI or CLI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1947018/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1946987] Re: HDMI not recognized after upgrading from 18.04 to 20.04.3
It appears the Nvidia driver is somehow not installed properly. Xorg is using software rendering instead of the Nvidia driver on this machine. That's also why it doesn't support the HDMI connector. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Nvidia driver. Also check to see if you have any custom Xorg config files that might cause the Nvidia driver to not get loaded. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => nvidia-graphics-drivers-340 (Ubuntu) ** Summary changed: - HDMI not recognized after upgrading from 18.04 to 20.04.3 + Nvidia 340 Xorg driver is installed but not loaded -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1946987 Title: Nvidia 340 Xorg driver is installed but not loaded To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-340/+bug/1946987/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
