[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1968311] [NEW] Jammy Jellyfish beta doesn't boot with zfs + encryption (Dell XPS 13)
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I tried installing multiple times, with the Beta version and daily 2022-04-05. I was afraid it was driver related so I tried with and without installing 3rd party software. After unlocking the drive, I can watch what services are starting - it freezes right after "Started Thunderbolt system service." After a while it says "[drm] CPU pipe a FIFO underrun." It always freezes at the same point and never boots. Jammy Jellyfish installed on EXT4 booted just fine on the Dell XPS 13. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- Jammy Jellyfish beta doesn't boot with zfs + encryption (Dell XPS 13) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1968311 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1951878] Re: "gdk/x11/gdkwindow-x11.c:5653 drawable is not a native X11 window" in Wayland session
I am seeing this in 22.04 and an easy way for me to reproduce is on a fresh login, open a terminal and watch the log, open Brave/Chrome, for some reason the first time you open the browser it has a GTK title bar which goes away on closing/reopening the app, now right clicking in the terminal window or opening the hamburger menu and bringing up the menu triggers this message in the logs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xwayland in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1951878 Title: "gdk/x11/gdkwindow-x11.c:5653 drawable is not a native X11 window" in Wayland session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+3.0/+bug/1951878/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1968167] Re: FFe: xf86-input-wacom 1.0.0
wacom is a special class of hardware and not essential to a working system, even if there was to be a regression it would probably not be a release issue and would be fine to deal with as a SRU, +1 from desktop -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xf86-input-wacom in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1968167 Title: FFe: xf86-input-wacom 1.0.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xf86-input-wacom/+bug/1968167/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1968167] Re: FFe: xf86-input-wacom 1.0.0
Looking at the changes, it's a huge list. As you mentioned (and as mentioned by the blogpost), those are mostly refactoring changes, but this means there's a lot of risk of introducing accidental regressions. Especially SO LATE in the cycle. Normally I'd be against accepting it, but since in theory this does not break FF (as there are no features and, at least in theory, no ABI/API is broken), let's check up with the Desktop team if they would be fine with such 'probably slightly somewhat risky' upload a week before Final Freeze. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xf86-input-wacom in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1968167 Title: FFe: xf86-input-wacom 1.0.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xf86-input-wacom/+bug/1968167/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
