[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 648355] [NEW] multiple monitors do not work

Public bug reported:

1. when activation the proprietary ati driver, monitors are no longer detected 
when they are plugged-in
2. when the computer boots up with all monitors plugged-in, the image is 
duplicated, and this cannot be changed from AmdCCC or System  Preferences  
Monitors, nor the resolution of the monitors
