I've installed 304.43 on my Ubuntu 12.04, I've a Nvidia 8800 GS. I'm trying to stress-test the computer: running games, watching movies with VLC at the same time, watching Youtube videos in the background etc no crashes for the moment but It's still to early to say it. Lucky you Axel. I had to installa the Nouveau driver instead. Not a single crash in one week of use. It's rock stable. It looks like the problem with 295.40 version of Nvidia driver is confirmed even by Nvidia: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_itempx=MTA4ODc I've switched back to 295.33 version, using this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates and it looks stable right now. Even the keyboard seems totally fucked up. I can only execute CTRL+ALT+F1 to open a new shell.
