[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 841103] [NEW] Text has artifacts when typing something
Public bug reported: When I type something in an xterm window, the text that I type have some artifacts, making it almost impossible to read. If I switch focus to some other window, the text looks normal, and when switching focus back to the xterm window the text still looks normal. It's only when I type that the text gets artifacts. See attached screenshot. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 788543] Re: Segmentation fault on Lenovo Thinkpad X200s
I can't seem to reproduce this segmentation fault anymore, so hopefully it has been fixed by some update. I still have the same symptoms now and then, but that seems to be a known bug in Unity, where it doesn't interact nicely with the screen saver. ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/788543 Title: Segmentation fault on Lenovo Thinkpad X200s To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/788543/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 788543] [NEW] Segmentation fault on Lenovo Thinkpad X200s
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg Every now and then X hangs. I can still see what was on the screen when the hang occurs and I can move the mouse, but I can't interact with anything, using keyboard shortcuts to switch workspaces doesn't work, and so on. I think it has never happened while I have been working with the computer, it's always either when I come back after a break, or watching a movie while the screensaver is kicking in. The problem started when upgrading to Natty. In Maverick I didn't have any problems like this.
