[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1409099] [NEW] after suspend xorg uses very much CPU.

2015-01-09 Thread Daniel Holm
Public bug reported:

After I've had my laptop suspended it got really slow - and it's brand
new and not as slow after fresh boot.

I saw that the xorg process used almost 100% of the CPU. After I've
restarted compiz it got lowered, so it actually might be that instead,
and not the xorg packade.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 844307] Re: No HDMI support.

2011-11-09 Thread Daniel Holm
Hi Bryce,

It's still there.
No signal by just connecting a external display, nor is the connected display
in the display settings.

By running: $ optirun nvidia-settings -c :8
The display turns on and I can start applications using DISPLAY=:8.0

I am also still using Ironhide.

So, I'm changing it back to confirmed.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 652160] Re: TERM environment variable not set.

2010-10-04 Thread Daniel Holm
I will check those files in /etc. But this bug showed up after upgrading
to Maverick via a fresh install on my laptop - but kept the home dir.
And on my server there was a complete fresh install with no prior home.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 652160] [NEW] TERM environment variable not set.

2010-09-30 Thread Daniel Holm
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xterm

The TERM environment variable not set, which creates some difficulty. I
use Guake as my standard virtual shell, but the same thing happens in
Gnome Terminal.

If I run $ export TERM=xterm everything works like a charm again, but it
is frustrating having to do this at each new session and it would
certainly be a issue for beginners.

I got this bug both on my laptop running latest Maverick and my server,
also running Maverick. Both installed Beta 4.
