[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 937654] [NEW] multi-touch left click having weird behavior
Public bug reported: Apologies for the un-technical bug report, i expect this to improve when more data is known. Currently, every few minutes the MT trackpad decides to select text when moving the pointer, and left click is not functional. It happened within the last ~8 days of updates, which included xorg. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 742380] Re: Error activating xkb configuration
On a system which is the same model as the reporters, which was upgraded from Maverick - with the option previously added, i could not reproduce this behaviour. Additionally, removing the option and re-adding it I could not reproduce. I think this needs to be tested on a fresh installation or livecd... Note, having the hardware as mentioned in the bug should not be a requirement to reproduce this bug. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 495253] Re: Failsafe mode uses Ubuntu specific branding unnecessarily
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better! I am going to mark this as confirmed because you attached the appropriate screenshot documenting the non-generic language of the failsafe process. I am only a volunteer and I am new to triaging so my actions may be a mistake. If so then the status may be adjusted accordingly and additional documentation may be required.
