Public bug reported:
xterm can't be found by Dash, even though it's installed. Trying to pin
a running xterm to the Launcher does not work reliably.
Doing a Create Launcher... on the desktop allows xterm to be run then
pinned, until the .desktop file created on the desktop is deleted.
Manually creating a .desktop file in /usr/share/applications resolved
these issues. xterm should be packaged with a default .desktop file in
that location.
Also see bug #129041, originally filed to remove the .desktop file, but
with subsequent conversation requesting the file's return. Having this
new bug to track the request to bring it back will allow people to mark
affects me without giving the wrong impression.
