[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 2011335] [NEW] Graphics Driver Problem

2023-03-12 Thread Dev Rudra
Public bug reported:

I am having an issue with Ubuntu Graphics Driver whenever I try to open
my pc after booting ubuntu my monitor gets a blank screen, I don't know
why this is happening.

For Booting my Ubuntu successfully I have to go to the advanced option
from the boot menu and then run ubuntu from there. I think it is a
graphics driver problem as after booting ubuntu from advanced settings I
get a message saying that the graphics driver will not boot for booting
them restart the pc and run ubuntu normally.

My PC Specs

Monitor with VGA directly form the mother board

Integrated graphics of Intel Core i3 10100

Mother board MSI M410 M-HV3

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1637316] [NEW] Screen flickering/tearing on Ubuntu 16.10 64-bit on kernel version 4.8.0-26-generic

2016-10-27 Thread Dev
Public bug reported:

After upgrading to Ubuntu 16.10 and booting with kernel version
4.8.0-26-generic, I can see screen flickering/tearing. If I boot up
using previous kernel version 4.4.0, then this issues do not appear.
This is an Intel GPU laptop with an nvidia graphics card. I would be
glad to provide more debug information if needed.

Also the following definitions:

static XlcDatabaseList _db_list = (XlcDatabaseList)NULL;

in file src/xlibi18n/lcDB.c is affected by the similar issues.

It looks like the localization support inside libx11 is generally not
thread safe.
