[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 327963] Re: Error activating XKB configuration with MacBook keyboard model

2012-01-28 Thread Eric B
Again, a regression when moving from 11.10 to 12.04 (precise pangolin).

The attached patch solves the problem, as usual.

At least for me, it's fixed. I suggest closing the report.

2010-09-21 Thread Eric B
Problem spontaneously disappeared with today's "aptitude update &&
aptitude full-upgrade".

The ibus error message is still here. So this was indeed unrelated.

Strangely enough, today's update did not include xorg packages. My best
guess is that the problem was in some KDE base package.

Exact list of today's upgrade is:

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 638817] Re: KDE does not start; thrown back to login screen

2010-09-17 Thread Eric B
OK for the summary change, thanks.

However, I don't think that it's a X server crash.

To help determine what really happens, I'll attach both
/var/log/Xorg.log and $HOME/.xsession-errors.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 494627] Re: nv driver crashing with segmentation fault in libpthread.so.0

As a matter of fact, only high resolution matters. I avoid it as long as
I remain 1024x768 on both screens.

Confirmed here. AMD64, and strangely enough occurs only with high
resolution and 2 screens.
